Musician Mez B was beaten by a group of people for hitting their cars after his performance at the Fiesta “One Love” concert in Dodoma last week.
The incident happened outside Club 84, the car he was in by accident hit 2 other vehicles parked outside the club after which the passengers in these 2 cars got down and started beating Mez B causing some serious injuries to the artist. Thankfully he managed to escape alive, however his ego is still bruised by the fact that people from his hometown (Dodoma) could actually do such a thing to him.

With its smooth brand of doo-wop/hip-hop, Boyz II Men has spearheaded the renaissance of the R&B vocal group, in the process revitalizing Motown Records (the band has become Motown's best-selling act, and its second album, Boyz II Men II, is the label's best-selling album of all time). The Boyz have sold over thirty million albums worldwide as of the first half of 1997, and have managed to capture plenty of awards--not to mention plenty of hearts--along the way. The Boyz II Men story begins in 1988, at the Creative & Performing Arts High School of hiladelphia, where Shawn Stockman, Wanya Morris, Nate Morris (no relation), and Mike McCary first discovered that the sum of their four voices was definitely greater than the individual parts. Besides singing at school, they honed their harmonizing skills by singing on street corners and on subway platforms, billing themselves as Unique Attraction.

The story of P-Square began in St. Murumba College, a small Catholic school in Jos, Nigeria. Identical twins Peter and Paul joined their school music and drama club where they began singing, dancing, and miming songs by MC Hammer, Bobby Brown and Michael Jackson.
They later formed an a cappella quartet called MMMPP (M Clef a.k.a Itemoh, Michael, Melvin, Peter and Paul). Drawing inspiration from their music idol Michael Jackson, they began break dancing, formed the group called "Smooth Criminals" in 1997. They droped M Clef from the group MMMPP which later was changed to MMPP. Their artistic talent and precise dance routine soon made them household names in the city of Jos, where they performed at school functions and other occasions.
Later in 1999, Peter and Paul returned to music school to develop their skills on keyboard, drums, bass and rhythm guitar. Their work includes the soundtracks for films like Tobi, Mama Sunday, Moment of Bitterness, Evas River.
